This Privacy Policy applies to Gritmoor Outdoor Services, a DBA of Christiansen Private Ventures LLC ("Gritmoor," "we," "us," or "our").
Information We Collect
When you request information or book a rental, we may collect your name, email address, mobile phone number, rental dates, delivery or pickup details, project notes, payment-related transaction information, communication preferences, and records of consent. Payment card information is processed by our payment provider and is not stored directly by Gritmoor.
We may also collect basic website and analytics information such as page views, referral source, browser/device information, and standard server log data.
How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to provide requested rentals and services, process and coordinate reservations, send required transactional information, respond to customer questions, coordinate pickup or delivery, administer rental agreements, provide customer support, prevent fraud or misuse, maintain business records, and improve our services.
SMS and Mobile Information
If you separately opt in to SMS using our public SMS sign-up form or by selecting the optional, unchecked SMS checkbox during checkout, Gritmoor may send rental-related text messages including booking confirmations, pickup/delivery coordination, rental agreement reminders, return reminders, and reservation updates. Message frequency varies based on your rental activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in information and consent are excluded from any other sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers and SMS consent records are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may use service providers solely as necessary to deliver communications or operate the rental service on our behalf, subject to appropriate restrictions.
Email and Phone Communications
You may separately choose to receive rental-related email updates or phone calls for coordination. Transactional messages that are necessary to complete your purchase, provide a receipt, administer a rental agreement, or respond to your request may still be sent when permitted by law even if you do not opt in to optional updates.
Consent Records
When you select a communication preference, we may retain the channel selected, contact information, consent language/version, source of consent, and date/time of consent as part of our compliance and rental records.
